Alan Kocak

President

Alan Kocak is an experienced educator and professional with a long-standing commitment to academic excellence and community engagement. With more than two decades of experience in secondary education, Alan has built a distinguished career focused on fostering student success and advancing high-quality instruction.

Alan currently serves as a Physics Teacher with Pennsauken Public Schools, where he has dedicated over 23 years to developing rigorous STEM curricula, mentoring students, and supporting school initiatives that promote critical thinking and scientific literacy. His deep commitment to student achievement has made him a respected member of the educational community in New Jersey.

His professional practice is rooted in elevating classroom instruction and integrating innovative teaching methods that prepare students for college-level science and future careers in technology and research. Alan’s approach emphasizes not only subject mastery but also collaboration, problem-solving, and real-world application — qualities he brings to his role as a board member.

Alan holds academic credentials from Northeastern University, further underscoring his strong foundation in education and professional development.

As a board member, Alan contributes valuable insights on educational strategy, curriculum standards, and community engagement, helping shape policies that support teachers, students, and broader district goals.

Huseyin Farsak

Treasurer

Following the completion of my primary, middle, and high school education in Adana, I pursued my university studies in China, where I achieved fluency in advanced Chinese and English. During my time there,

I organized cultural events in both China and Taiwan. I am a founding member of the Turkish-Taiwanese Businessmen’s Association and have served as the economic enterprise manager for the Turkish-Chinese Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association.

Presently, I work as a warehouse manager in Pennsauken, New Jersey and a proud father of one son and two daughters.

Sevket Tutar

CEO

Sevket Tutar has more than 25 years of experience in administration and education and worked as a school principal for many years.

He significantly contributed to many educational institutions becoming operational. He received his Masters in Education from Osh State University in Kyrgyzstan and is fluent in English, Russian, Kyrgyz, Kurdish and Turkish.

He has been working as director of Insight Foundation, a nonprofit organization in South Jersey for the past 3 years.

Ali Yakar

Member

Ali Yakar is a front-end developer with over 20 years of experience designing and building intuitive, user-centered web applications. Throughout his career, he has worked across a wide range of projects, delivering responsive, high-performance interfaces and contributing to the evolution of modern front-end practices.

Ali brings strong expertise in UI/UX design, front-end architecture, and cross-functional collaboration. At Insight Foundation, he will support the organization by strengthening its digital presence, improving user experience across platforms, and providing strategic guidance on scalable, accessible technology solutions that align with the Foundation’s mission.

Ibrahim Gorgec

Ibrahim Gorgec is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Mosaic Art Studio International, a global social enterprise dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue through traditional and experiential arts. He has played a central role in growing the organization’s presence worldwide, supporting the expansion of immersive workshops and studios that celebrate the beauty of West Asian and Central Asian artistic traditions.

With deep expertise in operations and strategic growth, Ibrahim ensures the smooth execution of Mosaic Art Studio’s creative programs, enabling participants of all backgrounds to explore mosaic lamp making, water marbling, and other cultural art forms. His leadership has contributed to the organization’s development of workshops across multiple countries, fostering creativity, cultural connection, and community engagement on a global scale.

As a board member, Ibrahim brings a vision grounded in cultural enrichment, experiential learning, and inclusive access to traditional arts — helping guide initiatives that expand artistic appreciation and impact.

Nur Tekin

Member

Nur Tekin is a 26 years old and  dedicated educator and board member of Insight Foundation in South Jersey. Known for her commitment to cultural education and community outreach, she is passionate about fostering cross-cultural understanding.

After earning her Bachelor’s in Pre-School Teacher Education from Ankara University, Nur came to the U.S. through a cultural exchange program, where living with an American family enriched her intercultural perspective. She began her U.S. teaching career at Edep Academy as a Substitute Teacher, mentoring young female students and creating an inclusive learning environment.

In 2023, Nur joined Insight Foundation as a Turkish language instructor, teaching 1st to 5th graders in Weekend and Summer School programs. Her classes helped young learners connect with their heritage and develop cultural pride.

Since August 2024, she has led the Outreach Team at Insight Foundation, managing interfaith dialogue initiatives to build community bonds and mutual respect. As a young, educator, Nur’s leadership aligns seamlessly with the foundation’s mission of promoting dialogue, understanding, and collaboration.
